ERCP Skills Lab: November 12th and 13th 2018

The ERCP Basic Training Course is intended for endoscopists at the beginning of their ERCP career.  The two-day course based at Royal United Hospital, Bath and led by Dr Ben Colleypriest. The course combines live / video cases, clinical discussion and hands-on training. The scientific programme will cover four key subject areas: Basic Cannulation, Stricture Management, Stone Management and Management of Complications. The course content will be delivered by Dr Ben Colleypriest, external faculty, and local faculty together.

Application Criteria

Interested applicants should submit a CV, including ERCP and other endoscopic experience to date, career ambitions and suitability for selection.  Please submit your application to Dr. Ben Colleypriest (bcolleypriest@nhs.net ), and Herdaye Aujla (herdaye.aujla@cookmedical.com ) by Friday 31st August 2018.  Note: a maximum of 8 places are available for this course.

Applicants should be at the beginning of their ERCP career. No practical ERCP experience is required but applicants with previous experience should not exceed 100 cases.

Training in diagnostic and therapeutic ERCP should only be sought by individuals with interest and training in the treatment of hepatopancreaticobiliary disease. Applications should include a supporting recommendation from the applicants’ clinical supervisor

Applications will be considered from trainees practicing within gastroenterology or GI surgery training programs within the UK.
